Our Story

The inspiration behind NomNom came from our CEO’s personal experience. His parents were immigrants from China and are passionate and talented chefs.

However, they never had the capital or resources to open their own restaraunt. In order to support the family, they both had to work as line-cooks and had no flexibility or creativity in their job.

We want to help talented chefs everywhere share their passion through selling authentic, culturally inspired dishes with the people around them.

Our Team

We are a group of four UC Berkeley graduates brought together by our passion for food. All of us are international students or part of immigrant families and we want to make it easily accessible for anyone to eat authentic home-cooked meals. Originally, we met through various courses and were all brought together in an entrepreneurship class. Since then, we have been on a mission to build the world’s largest restaurant.
